MUP authors appearing at the 2020 Auckland Writers Festival

We are thrilled to have a number of our authors appearing at the 2020 Auckland Writers Festival:

Barbara Ewing will be appearing at the Gala event, on Thursday 14 May, 7–8.15pm, as well as a solo session with Fiona Samuel discussing her memoir One Minute Crying Time, Friday 15 May, 10–11am.

Claire Robinson will give a presentation of her book Promises Promises on Saturday 16 May, 10–11am.

Paula Green will be chairing a session with poet Jan Kemp on Saturday 16 May, 2.30–3.30pm.

Lloyd Jones will appear in a panel alongside novelist Elizabeth Knox and essayist Alie Benge to talk about the state of our libraries, Sunday 17 May, 2.30–3.30pm.

Damien Wilkins will be taking part in Karangahape Curious, where writers cut loose along Auckland’s Karangahape Road and upper Queen Street in the Festival’s fourth Friday night ‘of the streets’ fiesta – featuring songs, ghosts, tattoos, typewriters and more.
