Written by Helen Schamroth, this book surveys Vonney Ball’s unique 40-year practice and examines her influences, from Bloomsbury to Māori art and design.
In conjunction with the book, Orexart presents a survey exhibition (including works for sale) which captures the essence of Vonney Ball’s output as a ceramic slip-caster and designer-maker, placing works produced in London in the 1980s alongside new, classically inspired pieces with a contemporary twist. Exhibition runs until 24 March.
