Dr Anna Dickson is a New Zealand freelance writer and editor. Originally specialising with a PhD in science communication from ANU, over the last 20 years she has broadened out into writing about almost any area of research imaginable. As well as creating works for general audiences, she also helps academics produce journal articles and other written work. For several years, she was the editor of the Journal of the Royal Society of New Zealand, and wrote extensively for the Marsden Fund. Anna is the author of the internationally published popular science book Hunting the Double Helix. She is also a registered psychotherapist.
