About the Publisher
Nicola Legat ONZM is the founding publisher of Massey University Press. Her list reflects the Press’s core principles of ‘explore, explain, engage’.
Nicola was Publishing Director of Random House New Zealand (now Penguin Random House New Zealand). During that time, Random House won the New Zealand Publisher of the Year Award seven years in a row.
She is also a former editor of Metro magazine and a member of numerous literary and publishing organisations, including Chair of the New Zealand Book Awards Charitable Trust and Deputy Chair of the Auckland Writers and Readers Festival Trust.
Nicola leads a team of highly experienced editors, proofreaders, designers, project editors and indexers, and the press is committed to delivering a superb standard of service, author care and market support.
