Claude Megson has been lauded as one of New Zealand's architectural greats and compared to the likes of Ian Athfield. Peter Bevan and Roger Walker. He designed a series of homes in Auckland in the 60's, 70's and 80's that were regarded as experimental and have been described as abstract and fantastical.
Details of his work have now been pulled together and discussed in a book celebrating his legacy by New Zealand trained and London based architect, Giles Reid in collaboration with Jackie Meiring. Giles Reid is in New Zealand at the moment and speaks to Kathryn about Megson's legacy.
