Sarika Rona is of Taranaki Tūturu, Te Atiawa, Ngāti Maniapoto and Tainui descent. An educational psychologist, she has worked for the Ministry of Education, as a primary and secondary school teacher, and lectured and developed course content for Massey University's Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology programme. Sarika enjoys working with tamariki and whānau, with a particular interest in supporting the wellbeing and learning development of tamariki and rangatahi in various educational environments.
