John Walsh is a writer who specialises in architecture. A former editor of Architecture NZ magazine, he is the author of numerous books about architecture, includingNew New Zealand Houses; Home Work; Big House, Small House; City House, Country House; Far Pavilion: New Zealand at the Venice Architecture Biennale; andHerbst: Architecture in context. He has also written guides to the architecture of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, and is currently working on a guide to Dunedin architecture.
